Today I’ve been testing the new Asus Eee laptop. It’s about size of a book. Really cool

The Asus Eee runs linux (xandros), and I’ve been testing skype, firefox, openoffice, opera, webcam, games, and the linux system it self today. The application for upgrade/install&remove applications seems a little unfinished, but you got the all mighty “apt-get” (dpkg package system, debian) on it, so you have no reason to wait until a new graphical installer is finished. We tried to install OpenOffice Norwegian Bokmål on it, that was working fine, but firefox got segmention fault ever after. That’s why we are now using opera on it. It’s no embedded version of opera we use, we use a orginal opera desktop for linux on it, and that works perfect too
